According to Celtics-Warriors, Stephen Curry has a different opinion than his teammate

Buddy Hield considered the Warriors' 118-112 victory over the Celtics on Wednesday night at TD Garden a “statement” win.

However, Golden State's leader and best player didn't see it that way.

Steve Kerr's side definitely deserve a lot of credit for their triumph on Causeway Street. The Warriors defeated a Boston team that won seven of its first eight games, with all but one of the wins coming by double digits. However, with the season still in its infancy, Stephen Curry didn't dwell too much on what his team accomplished on Wednesday.

“We haven’t done anything yet,” Curry told reporters, according to ESPN. “A good team or a relevant team wins the games they're supposed to win, you steal a few away from home against good teams, you protect your home ground.” We've done those things so far, but we still have two more games on this road trip, two tough tests.

“So of course I like where we are. But there is still a long way to go.”

Maybe Curry will feel a little different if Golden State wraps up its four-game road trip with another win. On Friday evening, the Warriors will host the Cleveland Cavaliers, who improved to 9-0 with a win in New Orleans on Wednesday.

The Celtics, meanwhile, will look to bounce back on Friday when they host the Brooklyn Nets.
