The actress highlighted Harris' New Way Forward plans to “reduce costs and strengthen Pennsylvanians' freedoms.”

“I think it’s great that (Kamala Harris) is going to help small businesses get started,” Garner said. “I think it's great that it's helping young people or people who are homeowners for the first time, that it's building more houses and that it's really addressing the housing crisis that we have in this country.”

This isn't the first time the star has been to Lancaster County.

“I love Lancaster. When I was 23, I was living in New York and wanted to play an Amish kid in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie,” Garner said. “I was very methodical. I didn't even have lines. And I found a 25 year old who helped me rent a car so I could go and spend a day there. In the end I found small places to stay overnight because I just liked it so much.”

Garner has starred in countless films, including the most recent and highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, Deadpool and Wolverine. She also won a Golden Globe for the TV series “Alias” and was nominated for four Prime Time Emmys for the series.

As Election Day approaches and the candidates are neck-and-neck, both campaigns are widely represented in Pennsylvania as a deciding factor in the outcome of the election.

The Harris-Walz campaign says it is only the second Democratic presidential campaign in recent history to open an office in Lancaster County.

The last day to register to vote is October 21st. The last day to request an absentee or absentee ballot is October 29th. Ballots must be returned to your county's board of elections by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 5th.
