All passes in Fortnite can progress simultaneously by earning XP starting December 1st

Fortnite has taken off in a big way and is constantly adding new content to the game to keep it fresh and attractive to new and returning players. This includes adding new experiences to the Fortnite universe, such as LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, Fortnite Festival, and a ton of user-generated content (including Kamala Harris' new Fortnite experience). This makes the game more accessible and easier to play. All passes in Fortnite advance simultaneously, earning XP by playing any experience. This massive change will come on December 1st.

Currently, the Battle Royale Battle Pass is the only way to achieve XP levels, which are earned in each experience. However, the team will expand the update to include the upcoming Music Pass, previously known as Festival Pass. The Music Pass can be upgraded in this way starting November 2nd, with the change affecting remaining and future passes starting December 1st.

Similar to the current Battle Pass, Music and LEGO Passes released after December 1st will instead only contain one track, which includes both free and premium rewards. This helps make the Battle Passes a lot easier. To further simplify the process, Festival Points will also be available on November 2nd, followed by Battle Stars and Studs on December 1st. This is intended to simplify the process of earning your passes, and instead unlock rewards simply by earning XP.

Of course, if you want to access the rewards in the Battle Pass, Music Pass or LEGO Pass, you will need to purchase them separately to receive the premium rewards. However, you can still easily access the free rewards.

Fortnite has enjoyed great popularity over the years, but is now experiencing a somewhat strange upswing. In the final week before the 2024 US presidential election, Kamala Harris has been trying to pitch her campaign to players. For this purpose, they have launched their Fortnite map Freedom Town, USA. As you explore the city, you'll learn some of Harris' campaign promises to inspire young people to vote. Anyone who wants to see what was created can check out the map with this code: 733155366547. It's not too surprising that Harris decided to do this, as we've seen them join Twitch over the last few days Talking politics while gaming while Tim Walz streams with AOC and plays the Dreamcast version of Crazy Taxi.

Be sure to keep an eye on your Battle Pass progress so you don't miss out on any rewards you may receive as they are slowly transitioning to an XP progression system for all Battle Passes in Fortnite.
