Amanda Bynes debuts her bold new black and blonde hairstyle during a coffee break in LA

Amanda Bynes debuted her new two-tone hair color on Thursday.

The 38-year-old Amanda Show star was blonde on top and had black curls on the bottom. There also seemed to be some shades of blue.

The star also wore heavy makeup, a septum piercing and a nose ring as she was spotted in Los Angeles.

Amanda wore a black sweatshirt and leggings with a black leather jacket and carried a small black handbag.

The former teen star left a cafe with two drinks – an iced coffee and a hot cup of coffee.

For her coffee errand, she slipped on a pair of flat silver loafers.

Earlier this year, Amanda opened up about her battle with depression and how it affected her weight.

“I've gained over 20 pounds.” “I've been suffering from depression for the past few months,” the Hairspray star wrote on her Instagram Stories in March.

“I feel much better now and have learned to do the opposite when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean.”

“I weigh 162 pounds.” “Right now I want to get back to 50 kg,” she added.

These days, she takes a healthier approach to her mental health than she did when she was younger and abused cocaine and Adderall to keep her weight down.

She said she became upset after seeing herself playing a boy in the 2006 film “She's the Man.”

“When the film came out and I saw it, I fell into a deep depression for four to six months because I didn't like the way I looked as a boy,” she told Paper magazine.

This whole experience was one of the reasons why she decided to quit acting in 2012.
