Andrew Whitworth stuns as Joe Burrow on Halloween

Joe Burrow was a hit this Halloween, even though the star quarterback himself wasn't a fan of dressing up for the spooky holiday.

Actor Macaulay Culkin, known for his role as Kevin in the Home Alone series and Burrow's “alleged doppelganger,” was the first to dress up as the star quarterback of the Cincinnati Bengals and play on the joke the two resemble each other.

After Culkin caused a stir on social media with his costume, former Bengals offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth also decided to dress up as a quarterback for Thursday Night Football's Halloween broadcast.

During “TNF Nightcap,” Whitworth, Charissa Thompson, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tony Gonzalez and Richard Sherman all dressed up as well-known NFL players, drawing laughter from everyone on the air.

“I’m Joe Burrow, baby,” Whitworth proudly told the crew. The retired four-time Pro Bowler wore Burrow's second-day fit: a sheer knit black tank top, sunglasses and bleach blonde hair.

The only thing that distinguished the two was Whitworth's beard.

“I had to get one of my favorite players, @JoeyB, ready before the game! He may not play dress up, but I do! Wow! 💪🏼,” Whitworth posted on social media Friday.

While stars and former NFL players have dressed up like Burrow, the QB said Wednesday that he decided not to dress up for the holidays because he was “not interested in celebrating anything, just celebrating,” and adding that he's “not much of a disguise guy.”

The majority of the TNF crew dressed up as NFL players with Cincy ties

All crew members dressed up as various NFL players, and Whitworth wasn't the only one who dressed up as a Cincinnati legend.

Former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Sherman appeared as New York Jets and former Bearcats cornerback Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner. Charissa Thompson was Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, also a UC graduate.

Here's who the rest of the crew dressed up as.

  • Charissa Thompson: Chiefs and former Bearcats tight end Travis Kelce.
  • Tony González: Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku.
  • Ryan Fitzpatrick: Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones.
  • Richard Sherman: Jets cornerback and UC alum Sauce Gardner.

After the game, Jets running back Breece Hall declared Sherman the winner of the TNF costume contest, but quarterback Aaron Rodgers handed it off to Whitworth.
