Autumn will remain for a few more days, then summer will come again next week

The first half of this weekend was cloudy, cold, damp and a bit rainy at times. From now through Sunday night we should see generally clear skies and fairly calm weather.

Before you get into the nitty-gritty of weather, there are three things you should be clear about.

First, the time change occurs on Saturday evening, when Daylight Saving Time ends and clocks go back one hour from 2 a.m. Sunday to 1 a.m. Sunday:

Looking back at Saturday's temperatures across the Northeast and Great Lakes, many locations were at or below average:

A high pressure area will move in overnight so our skies will clear and stay clear through Sunday.

This means that Sunday will be nicer than Saturday with blue skies and lots of sun.
