Avalanche Game 4 vs Boston Bruins, lines, notes and how to watch

The Colorado Avalanche (0-3-0) host the Boston Bruins (2-2-0) hoping to avoid their second 0-4 start in team history (1998-99). The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. (MT), but the puck will drop at 7:52 p.m

Boston comes to Denver after a loss to the Florida Panthers, who also eliminated the Bruins from the Stanley Cup playoffs last spring. The Avs, on the other hand, are expected to play again without top defenseman Devon Toews and forward Jonathan Drouin, both of whom were injured in the first two games of the season. They join a longer list of offensive firepower already missing from the lineup. Colorado's full injury list can be found below.

Colorado recalled forward Matt Stienburg from the AHL after sending down Chris Wagner. Steinburg, 24, was drafted by the Avs in the third round of the 2019 draft. He is expected to make his NHL debut, giving the Avalanche four rookie forwards in the lineup.
