Best MLB Bets Today (Yankees and Guardians Stay Under, Jose Ramirez Prop Bet)

Game 2 of the ALCS continues tonight at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees lead 1-0.

We won our Juan Soto bet yesterday for a nice payout of +140, narrowly missing out on the match total.

We are 9-2 since the start of the Divisional Series. Let's see if we can keep it going!

Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook.

Gerrit Cole starts for the Yankees at home tonight. He got back on track in his final game against the Royals, allowing just one earned run over seven innings.

I'm willing to bet we get something between Gerrit Cole and Gerrit Cole, who allowed the Royals three earned runs in Game 1. In his postseason career, Cole has a 2.94 ERA.

In his only start against the Guardians during the regular season, Cole allowed just one hit, for a .056 batting average over six innings.

Tanner Bibee will start for the Guardians. He has a 2.08 ERA over 8 ⅔ innings pitched this postseason. He allowed two runs to the Tigers in the ALDS. Bibee has not yet played against the Yankees this season.

Both bullpens were reliable in the postseason, but the Yankees' bullpen was elite, allowing just a 0.58 ERA.

Since the Yankees are expected to win this game, I'm assuming they don't have to strike out in the bottom of the ninth. That should help keep the score down tonight.

I'm also making a big bet that Jose Ramirez will take a walk tonight. Although his 7.9% walk rate this season was his worst since 2016, that number is as high as 12.5% in the postseason.

Cole's regular-season walk rate was the highest since 2018. In Cole's only start against Cleveland this year, he walked five batters. Ramirez had three walks in this game. If the payout is two to one, I'll give it a try.

The game odds are updated regularly and are subject to change.
