'Big Brother' Host Julie Chen Moonves Reacts to Makensy's Shocking Decision (Exclusive)

Every week, Big Brother Host Julie Chen Moonves opened up about the latest happenings in the house. This week she reacts to the events of the finale, including Chelsie's big win, Makensy's big decision not to finish Cam, Tucker being named America's Favorite Houseguest, and the return of Jankie.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Let's start with the winner. How would you summarize Chelsie's performance this season, which ended with a unanimous jury decision?

JULIE CHEN MOONVES: It was almost flawless. She had friends, loyalty, skills and smarts. When push came to shove and she was caught off guard by Cedric's expulsion and then losing Brooklyn, she changed her game and figured out how to make it through with only one other Pentagon member left in the house. She deserved the unanimous 7-0 win! (And I'm not just saying that because I'm her “aunt”!)

If Makensy chooses Cam to play to the end, she will win $750,000. She told you afterwards that she was fine and that she agreed with the decision. Do you believe that?

Yes, I do. Of course, she reiterates why she didn't get it any Winning votes, and I think that's maybe the hardest part for them. However, she seemed willing to potentially lose the game in order to stay true to her personality and maintain her integrity. I'm proud of her.

What does it say that someone who hasn't been on Tucker for six weeks just won America's Favorite Houseguest?

It shows that the Tuckers were a unique and unforgettable force. His unconventional gameplay coupled with his incredible skills that saved him from making his own bold, risky moves have cemented his place in BB history.

Tell us what it was like to stand on that stage when the entire cast was reunited at the end. Have you heard any interesting news or interactions?

I found Makensy to be the consummate professional – she maintained an elegant, down-to-earth modesty while mentally reconsidering whether she had done the right thing. It spoke volumes that she was able to celebrate the end of the season with others and Chelsie's win and not act like a sore loser.

Could we finally see Jankie in Season 27?

When he finally stops singing that damn Jankie song, I'm going to ask him!
