Bilibili Gaming secures a spot in the 2024 World Cup grand finals

Bilibili Gaming made relatively quick work against Weibo Gaming, securing a 3-0 win on Saturday to secure a spot in the 2024 League of Legends World Championship grand finals in Berlin.

The China-based team awaits the winner of Sunday's T1 vs. Gen.G Esports semifinal for a championship competition that will take place next Saturday.

Bilibili played red throughout the game and opened with a 39-minute win. They followed with wins in 32 minutes and 28 minutes to secure the best-of-five match.

Zhuo “Ritter” Ding secured the MVP award with 19 kills and 18 assists and just one death.

Zhao “Elk” Jiahao added 13 kills and 20 assists.

In the Swiss Stage format of the $2.225 million event, 16 teams had to go through five rounds, with the top eight teams after the five rounds advancing to the single-elimination knockout round. All knockout games are best-of-five, with the grand final taking place on November 2nd.

The world champion receives $445,000 and the runner-up receives $356,000. All eight quarterfinalists are guaranteed at least $100,125.
