Former President Bill Clinton will campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris in Fox Valley and Milwaukee on Thursday.

It will be Clinton's first campaign stop in Wisconsin after rallies in other battleground states including Arizona and North Carolina. No locations for Clinton's stops have been announced yet. Former President Barack Obama gathered in Madison earlier this month.

“In their latest attempt to convince voters that decency and character are on the ballot this November, Wisconsin Democrats are turning to Bill Clinton to make their case. Good luck with that,” Wisconsin Republican Party Chairman Brian Schimming said in a statement, referring to a sex scandal during Clinton’s presidency that led to an impeachment vote in the House.

Clinton is expected to push for early voting, according to a campaign advisory. Early voting in Wisconsin rose to 40% above 2020 levels, and higher-than-expected voter turnout led to delays in the system for printing envelope labels. Early voting began in Wisconsin on October 22nd and can continue until November 3rd.

Both candidates are focused on Wisconsin with just over a week left until Election Day. Harris will rally college voters in Madison on Wednesday, while former President Trump will campaign in Green Bay alongside former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre. Trump will return to Milwaukee on Friday for a rally at the Fiserv Forum.

Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz tried to reach voters in conservative Waukesha County on Monday. Also on Monday, Republican vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance campaigned in Wausau and Racine.
