Bills WR Mack Hollins scores on fourth-and-goal against the Dolphins

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — It took until the third quarter, but the Buffalo Bills scored the team's first two touchdowns on fourth down on a 1-yard pass from the Miami Dolphins in a crucial AFC East game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Quarterback Josh Allen converted wide receiver Mack Hollins and Ray Davis, who had a catch-and-run for 63 yards.

After a slow offensive start, the Bills were finally able to capitalize on the short throw from the red zone. Kicker Tyler Bass missed the PAT – his third such miss this season – as Buffalo led 12-10.

However, the Dolphins responded on the next drive by converting a field goal to take a one-point lead.

The Bills took the lead with a 63-yard touchdown pass from Allen to rookie running back Davis, with all of the yards coming on Davis' run downfield. The touchdown is the longest reception by a Buffalo running back since 2012 (CJ Spiller: 66-yard touchdown against the Jets).

The Bills go for 4th and goal… for SIX.

The Bills tied the game with a two-point conversion on a pass from Allen to Keon Coleman.

Buffalo is now 9-for-9 in fourth place this season. Only the Bills and Commanders (11-11) converted 100% of their fourth-down attempts.

The conversion came after Buffalo came up short in the red zone three times, one after an interception by cornerback Jalen Ramsey after Coleman dropped a pass, and the other two resulted in field goals by Bass.

The touchdown drive followed a forced fumble by nickel corner Taron Johnson, which was recovered by cornerback Kaiir Elam. The Bills now have 11 straight games with a takeaway, tying with the Lions for the longest active streak in the NFL.
