Brent Pry evaluates Collin Schlee in the first half against Syracuse

Virginia Tech Backup quarterback Collin Schlee got the start for the Hokies on Saturday against Syracuse as Kyron drones couldn't walk.

Schlee played well in the first half, helping Virginia Tech to a 14-3 halftime lead. The former Kent State And UCLA The quarterback was 10-for-15 passing for 144 yards before halftime. He also had a rushing touchdown.

Hokies head coach Brent Pry shared what he saw in the first half from Collin Schlee when he spoke to CW.

“Yeah, I thought he played the game well. I thought he played fast. We controlled the offense,” Brent Pry said. “He probably would like a throw back, but he did a good job. He made some plays and managed the game.”

Collin Schlee is in his first season at Virginia Tech. He had only attempted one pass all season before facing Syracuse.
