Broncos star shot after leaving Denver-area strip club

In the last few hours it has been announced that Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was injured in a shooting after leaving a strip club called Shotgun Willies in the Denver area.

Denver's 9News has extensively reported on the incident, which occurred in the early morning hours of Oct. 18, with a call about the shooting coming in shortly after 3 a.m

The shooting near East Hampden Avenue and South Dahlia Street left three victims injured, two of whom were shot and one injured by shattering glass. One of the people shot was Reynolds, who was hit twice – once in the arm and once in the back of the head.

Since then, Denver police have arrested two people in the case. One of the arrested men was seen at the strip club before the attack, where he did not engage with entertainers but rather observed the victims.

Details on the extent of injuries Reynolds suffered have not been released.

According to ESPN, Reynolds is currently on injured reserve and recently underwent surgery for a broken finger. The last game Reynolds played was on October 6, missing the team's final two games. So far this season, he has one touchdown on 12 receptions for 183 yards.

A detailed report on this incident can be found on the 9News website, which explains a little more about the motive and how this incident appears to stem from a previous conflict.
