CAA is reportedly dropping Haason Reddick

If Haason Reddick's reluctance ends with a new or revised contract, he will be represented by a new agency. Or with Reddick representing himself.

According to multiple reports, CAA has parted ways (a tactful way of saying “fired”) with Reddick. Because one of the reports comes from ESPN's Adam Schefter, who is represented by CAAit's safe to say it's correct.

It must have happened recently. The NFLPA website still lists Tory Dandy and Jimmy Sexton as Reddick's official agents. When a player and agency go their separate ways (usually at the player's initiative), the union will immediately update the website to indicate that the player is not represented.

There is a five day waiting period after termination paperwork is submitted to the NFLPA. In this case, CAA will undoubtedly forego it as they are the ones who want to make the change.

So Reddick is looking for a new agency. The fact that it happened strongly suggests that Reddick consistently refused to act on her advice.

Reddick lost millions in non-refundable preseason fines, forfeiture of contract bonuses and checks for missed games. On the last point alone, Reddick will have forgone $4.75 million and the rate of $791,666 per week.

He is getting closer and closer to the deadline of not being able to play at all this year, which would mean his entire contract runs until 2025.
