Can you shop at Aldi on Thanksgiving 2024?

No matter how hard everyone prepares for the big holiday, there is a reason to run to the grocery store every Thanksgiving. A last minute trip to Aldi to pick up wine for the host or extra fill may be inevitable, but will the doors be open?

Unfortunately, you'll have to find another affordable grocer to meet your last-minute Thanksgiving needs. Aldi stores will not be open on Thanksgiving 2024according to the shop's website. Aldi has more than 2,000 stores across the United States and may offer special hours on certain holidays.

It's always best to check with your local Aldi location if you're lucky enough to find one that's open late the night before or early the next day if you need aluminum foil for leftovers. Even if Aldi isn't open that day, Thanksgiving celebrations can still happen.

Aldi's Thanksgiving deals

Aldi is known for being affordable year-round, but come Thanksgiving, the grocery chain only lives up to its reputation even more. The chain does not require Aldi vouchers or a minimum order value to benefit from its holiday offers. For 2024, Aldi is offering a full Thanksgiving meal for 10 people for less than $47.

The food basket includes a Butterball turkey with seasonings, gravy, rolls, macaroni and cheese, and stuffing. In addition, ingredients for cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie are included in Aldi's ultra-affordable Thanksgiving offering. We can also be thankful that the company plans to open 800 more stores in the next five years.

This bundle of Thanksgiving items is the cheapest Thanksgiving basket Aldi has offered in the last five years. Regardless of whether the grocery store doors are open on the actual holiday or not, there's no denying that plates are full come November.
