Cardi B, Alec Baldwin and Stephen King are angry about the 2024 election results as Trump emerges victorious

Cardi B, Alec Baldwin and Stephen King have criticized the results of the 2024 presidential election, when Donald Trump emerged victorious.

The Grammy-winning rapper, 32, was one of the first to vent her frustration on social media after news broke Wednesday that Trump would be returning to the White House.

On Instagram Live, the “I Like It” hitmaker read out a comment from a fan who said, “Cardi, we need you at the Trump inauguration.”

“I swear to God I'm going to f*** you, get away from me,” she said during the video, which has more than 37,000 followers. “I'm sick of you! Burn, you're the king, damn it. I'm really sad. I swear to God, I’m really sad.”

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Cephus, added that she is “proud” of Vice President Kamala Harris, whose rally she spoke at last week in Milwaukee.

“No matter what happens, I know she’s probably emotional right now. I know there's probably a lot going on in her head and I know she's not listening to it, but she'll see it eventually,” she said.

“I just hope she knows no matter what happens tonight, millions of people are proud of her. Women all over the world are proud of her. Women of color are proud of her.”

“When I look at her face and she talks to me, I think she's very genuine and doesn't play any damn games,” she continued. “She had 100 days to do all this and she woke up this nation. I feel like a lot of things went wrong last year and she was kept too much in the background.”

“I’m proud of her and hope she’s proud of herself no matter what happens tonight. This is one of the most memorable elections and I love it. I'm not saying I love a lot of people, you all know that. Because I hate everyone.”

Bravo boss Andy Cohen shared his frustration with the outcome on Instagram, saying: “We will persevere, we will move on.”

Hours earlier, Cohen wrote on X: “So the election is NOT rigged???”

Meanwhile, Act Your Age star Yvette Nicole Brown called the election result a “disgrace.”

Andy Cohen shared a video on Instagram saying, “We will persevere, we will move forward.”

“Sherrod Brown’s defeat in Ohio is a defeat for Ohio and our nation. This is disgrace on a level I can't even quantify. “My home state of Ohio has chosen a criminal,” Brown wrote on I’m just showing myself.”

While actor John Cusack wrote on

“Glee” alum Kevin McHale echoed similar thoughts, adding, “The Supreme Court is gone for the rest of my life. “Ultra-conservative evangelical bigotry, xenophobia and racism are the order,” says a post on X.

“I'm so very sorry. I thought better about us,” she wrote on X.

The author Stephen King also commented on the result and wrote on The same can be said about democracy.

Elsewhere, “Suits” and “The Wire” actor Wendell Pierce warned of the “consequences” of Trump moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in a post on X.

“The Supreme Court will be transformed for a generation,” he wrote. “I will never see a moderate court again in my life. Alito and Thomas will resign and Trump will appoint 40-year partisans to the bench. The damage he will do to our institutions over the next two years will be irreparable.”

Meanwhile, “Countdown” dictionary guru Susie Dent published a tongue-in-cheek post on X following Trump's historic win.

“The word of the day is 'return' (17th century): the return of something terrible after a period of reprieve,” she wrote.
