In the Arizona Cardinals' 29-9 victory over the Chicago Bears, 22 players played at least one of the 58 offensive snaps. Let’s take a look at how this playing time was divided below.

The first number after each name is Snaps and the second is the percentage. Players in bold were starters.

quarterback

Kyler Murray 55/95, Clayton Melody 3/5

Murray was solid, completing 13 of 20 passes for 154 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Six of the completions came from running backs.

Even he noted what kind of game it was when he said: “It's not too often that I've managed to take part in a game like this and play the way I felt like I was playing – not to my standard – and to be able to win at it” like we did. It was great to run the ball in a defense like that. The O-line did its thing. Every running back that came into the game did their thing, so it was good to see.”

Murray was sacked three times, ending the team's three-game sackless streak, and rushed twice for six yards. His nifty 6-yard run came on a third-and-2 drive in the third quarter that ended with a field goal and a 24-9 lead.

Running backs

James Conner 28/48, Trey Benson 16/28, Emari Demercado 14/24, Dallas 1/2

Conner touched the ball on 21 of his snaps, rushing for 107 yards on 18 carries (5.9 average) and three receptions for 12 yards. Demercado contributed the electrifying 53-yard touchdown dash at the end of the half and totaled 80 yards from scrimmage (59 rushing, 21 receiving). Benson looked his best ever with eight carries for 37 yards, including a 17-yard run, a touchdown and an 18-yard reception. Dallas' only snap resulted in a two-yard rush.

The running backs caught all six of their targets for 51 yards.

Wide receiver

Marvin Harrison Jr. 43/74, Michael Wilson 41/71, Greg Dortch 22/38, Zay Jones 11/19, Zach Pascal 3/5

Inactive: Xavier Weaver

Let's talk about a quiet game, but somewhat overlooked due to the way the game was won. The wide receivers were targeted just seven times, with Wilson and Dortch each missing their only target. Harrison had two receptions for 34 yards on five targets and lost a fumble on a 21-yard play.

Tight ends

Trey McBride 52/90, Lace Reiman 29/50, Elijah Higgins 25/43

Inactive: Travis Vokolek

McBride caught three of his four targets for 35 yards and was tied with Conner for the team lead. He also scored his first touchdown of the season on a 2-yard run, setting up the game's first score. Higgins missed both of his targets for 24 yards. Reiman was instrumental in blocking in the run game.

Offensive line

LT Paris Johnson Jr. 58/100, LG Evan Brown 58/100, C Hjalte Froholdt 58/100, RT Kelvin Beachum 58/100, RG Trystan Colon 41/71, RG Isaiah Adams 17/29, T Charlie Heck 4/7, G Jon Gaines II 1/2

Inactive: T Christian Jones

Injured reserve: T Jonah Williams (designated to return/practice), G Will Hernandez (eligible to return but not), T Carter O'Donnell

It was a solid performance from the line that contributed to the consistent success in ball handling. Left guards Trystan Colon and Isaiah Adams continued to share the job.

After a 213-yard rushing attack in which Murray ran for just six yards, Conner said: “I think it's just the way we come to work, the preparation and the plan. The offensive line; They come to work, so first of all they get people off the ball. I'm sure the guys will be knocked deep off the ball watching this film. When they play like that, all we have to do is put the ball in the right place and we can be successful on the floor.”

He concluded: “The offensive line was outstanding. All the tight ends blocked and made plays. All.”
