Celebrities also love dressing up in pop culture costumes

It's the spookiest time of the year – and celebrities are all ready to dress up.

Halloween may belong to Heidi Klum, but she has hot competition. While the America's Got Talent While the judge chooses costumes like a peacock (2023), a worm (2022) or a zombie (2021), other stars draw heavily from pop culture. She does this just like the rest of us – as Beetlejuice, Inside Out 2 And Deadpool and Wolverine Costumes are trending this year.

However, celebs are throwing it back: Halle Bailey as Halle Berry was praised by the Oscar winner, Janelle Monáe relied on prosthetics to become an '80s alien, and Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager channeled their inner Jack and Rose Titaniccomplete with a moment of the bow of a “ship”.

Let's take a look at some of the hottest ones (so far)…

Halle Bailey

If we were giving out awards we would throw them to Halle Bailey as Halle Berry.

The Little Mermaid The star paid tribute to the Oscar winner by recreating Berry's famous look Die another dayy character, Jinx Johnson. It's been 22 years since Berry wore her orange bikini for the role in the 007 movie, and Bailey's recreation received praise from the OG. Berry wrote on Instagram: “Awe…my girl did this!” What a huge compliment. “I love you, angel.” (Fun facts: No, Bailey wasn’t named after Berry. Yes, they met.)

Janelle Monae

We can't miss the “Make Me Feel” singer in her ET costume. She introduced this look for the first time – a throwback to the 1982s ET the alien – on Jennifer Hudson's show, complete with a bunch of prosthetics and a creepy voice to match.

Monáe's performance was Klum-level, including a full photo shoot.

Hoda Kotb & Jenna Bush Hager

For their last Halloween together they have Today with Hoda & Jenna Co-hosts were perfect like Winslet and DiCaprio's in 1997 Titanic Characters. Their hearts will carry on…even though they will no longer spend their mornings together. Sniff.

It was show time for Al Roker, dressed as Beetlejuice, complete with rotten teeth and a gravelly voice. The film's sequel was released this year, decades after the 1988 original, and featured much of the original cast, including Michael Keaton.

Dylan Dreyer joined Roker with that Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice Theme, serving up some Lydia Deetz, brought to the small screen by Winona Ryder.

Craig Melvin as Axel F. Foley from 1984's Eddie Murphy Beverly Hills police officer, was wearing a varsity jacket as he rolled to the set in a 1972 Chevy Nova. He even made a few jokes about the exhaust pipes.

There was also Willie Geist as Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy in 2004 moderator, Peter Alexander as Robin Williams Ms. Doubtfire (1993), Laura Jarrett as Gabrielle Union's 2000s Isis Bring it on and Carson Daly and Sheinelle Jones in Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) seems to be inspired by Mike Myers and Beyoncé (Powers and Foxxy Cleopatra).

Scott Foley, Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn

Jennifer Garner

The Deadpool and Wolverine The actress revisited an old friend – her 13 Next 30 Character, Jenna Rink.
