Charvarius Ward of the 49ers mourns the loss of his one-year-old daughter

Our condolences go out to San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward, whose one-year-old daughter, Amani Joy, tragically passed away.

The 49ers released a heartfelt statement expressing their condolences and support to Ward and his family.

“The 49ers family is devastated by the sudden death of Charvarius Ward’s beloved 1-year-old daughter, Amani Joy,” the statement said. “Amani truly embodied pure happiness and brought joy to everyone around her with her sweet demeanor and infectious laugh. We will continue to grieve with Charvarius and Monique and send them our love and support during this unimaginable time.”

Ward is in his third season with the 49ers, who are in their bye week.
