Chloe Bailey has endorsed Kamala Harris for president after stressing the importance of being able to “vote for another woman of color.”

The 26-year-old singer won the coveted Musician of the Year award at Glamour's Women Of The Year Awards in London on Tuesday.

“There was a time when people who looked like me didn't have the opportunity to vote,” Chloe said in an interview with Glamor UK on Wednesday.

“I am a black woman in 2024 who can make my voice heard — who can actually vote for another woman of color to potentially become president.”

“It’s important for this generation to cast our vote and make our voice heard, no matter what path they take.”

Chloe commented on how she believes society has made a lot of progress when it comes to equality.

“As a black woman, I can walk down the street and into any store and make a living saying the things I want to say in my music,” she said.

But Chloe added that it was “sad” to see rights that were fought for and won potentially being taken away again – particularly the right to abortion.

“The road to equality is still long,” she added.

Chloe followed in her older sister's footsteps when she accepted the musician award after Halle won the award last year.

Delivered by rap superstar Eve, 46, Chloe gushed in her acceptance speech: “This job has enabled me to achieve unimaginable dreams.”

She oozed glamor in a strapless red gown by Robert Wun Couture, which featured a corset-like top half and a pointed cone-shaped bra, ensuring all eyes were on her.

She looked nothing short of sensational in the chic dress, which she paired with matching long red gloves.

She looked in great spirits as she made a splash on the red carpet before heading to the ceremony.

Although the artist has embarked on a solo career in recent years, Chloe shared that fans can expect new music from her and her sister Halle Bailey's group, Chloe x Halle.

'Absolutely!' she said during an interview with Forbes in April. “Well, I'm super proud of my sister and I'm super proud of myself too.”

“We both have really cool solo projects coming up this year and probably won't have our group music coming out until next year, which will be really exciting. 'I can't wait and I know the fans can't wait too!'

Chloe also shared how her creative endeavors have grown throughout her time in the entertainment industry.

“I would say it just naturally evolves as I grow as a person, you know?” she quipped. “See where the wind blows and where it will take me.”

“I feel like as a creative you have to be honest with yourself and honest with your vulnerability, and to achieve that you have to live life, so that's what I do! I'm just trying to live right.”
