Christian Braun and Rudy Gobert almost fight after poster dunk

Christian Braun is perhaps the most interesting Denver Nuggets player not named Nikola Jokic. Braun, the third-year winger from Kansas, has been a nice player to this point in his NBA career, but will have to take on a much larger role after the team decided not to bring back Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency.

Even though he's still young and a work in progress, the flashes Braun has shown have been awfully fun. We got the last glimpse of that Friday night in the Western Conference semifinal rematch between Denver and the Minnesota Timberwolves, when Braun was hit at the rim by Rudy Gobert and simply didn't care as he cut through the Timberwolves' defense's pivot point for one ridiculous dunk.

As you can see in the full clip Gobert wasn't exactly a fan of the way Braun celebrated – it didn't look like he was trying to scream in Gobert's face, but more like he was doing exactly the wrong thing. There was some pretty aggressive pushing and shoving, but ultimately Braun and Gobert were the only players who received any reprimand from the referees as they were both assessed technical fouls.

Unfortunately for Braun and the Nuggets, Gobert and Co. would get the last laugh as Minnesota cruised to a 119-116 victory.
