Cincinnati Bearcats vs. UCF Knights Prediction, Odds and Tips

After resting up in their bye week, the Cincinnati Bearcats travel to Orlando, Florida to take on the UCF Knights in a Big 12 matchup. This game will be played at FBC Mortgage Stadium after Hurricane Milton hit Orlando this week, but it appears the weather should be largely over by Saturday's kickoff. UCF has lost two straight games to Florida and Colorado. The Knights have underperformed on both ends this season. New transfer quarterback KJ Jefferson didn't look the same as he did at Arkansas early this season. Jefferson only threw for 1,012 yards and 7 touchdowns in 5 games. The Knights lacked explosiveness and ranked 122nd in the FBS in that department. On the other side of the ball, the UCF defense looked like it was playing back and was on its heels. The Knights have only generated 3 sacks in 5 games this season.

Cincinnati was the opposite, exceeding preseason expectations set at the start of the year. The Bearcats have a balanced attack led by sophomore quarterback Brenden Sorsby. He has thrown 12 touchdowns and only 1 interception. Running back Corey Kiner balances the offense by averaging 6.2 yards per carry on 67 attempts. The Bearcats should be able to continue moving the ball against UCF. The Knights allowed more than 6 yards per carry in their last two games against Florida and Colorado. With Cincinnati also having an extra week of prep time, I like it on the money line.
