About Oklahoma State

It's an honor

OSU honored seven players with 2024 Big 12 Awards, a first in program history.
Six Cowgirls earned All-Big 12 honors, which is the second-most honors in program history behind the seven in 2011. OSU earned three spots on the All-Big 12 First Team, marking the third-highest point total in program history behind the 2011 (5) and 2010 (4) squads.
The defenders secured places on the All-Big 12 First Team Alex Morris and midfielder Xcaret Pineda And Laudan Wilsonwhile goalkeeper Grace Gordondefender Mollie Breiner and forward Gracie Binding Bag collected All-Big 12 Second Team honors.
defender Katelyn Hoppers was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team.
Additionally, Morris was named Big 12 Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year, becoming the first Cowgirl in program history to receive the honor.

OSU leads the NCAA with 15 shutouts this season, one more than Mississippi State. The Cowgirls are also second in the country with a .750 shutout percentage, third with a .885 save percentage and sixth with a .50 goals against average.
• OSU's nine consecutive shutouts to start this season are the longest streak in program history. In 2011, the Cowgirls had shutout streaks of six and five games, which were their best streaks to date.
• The streak of nine straight shutouts is the second-longest in Big 12 Conference history. West Virginia holds the record with 10 straight games in 2016, while WVU (2015) and Nebraska (1997) also had nine straight clean sheets.
• The Cowgirls' best shutout streak to start a season was three games in 2005.
• OSU's 15 shutouts in 2024 are the second-most in a season in program history and fifth all-time in Big 12 history. The Cowgirls posted a record 18 goals-against record in 2011, leading the NCAA that year and are on par with the conference mark.
Grace Gordon 12 shutouts rank third nationally this season, one behind UCLA's Ryan Campbell and Mississippi State's Maddy Anderson, and are tied with AD Franch for the most in a single season in program history; Franch had 12 in 2011.
• Gordon also set an OSU record with six consecutive shutouts (Sept. 29 Utah – Oct. 20 UCF games); Franch already held the record in 2011 with five goals in a row.

OSU's 42 goals this season have been scored by 14 different players. Logan Heausler leads the Cowgirls with eight goals while Xcaret Pineda has six.
Sixteen Cowgirls also recorded assists this year. Laudan Wilson leads the Big 12 and ranks 10th nationally with nine assists Alex Morris has five.

Can't stop, won't stop

OSU's starting centerback trio is a big reason the Cowgirls have allowed just six goals this season – and it's rare not to see them on the field.
Mollie Breinerwho earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors, played the full 90 minutes in 13 of OSU's 20 games and was on the field for 1,695 of a possible 1,800 minutes. Ellie Geoffroy played full-time in 10 games (1,608 minutes total), while Chloé Joseph played 90 minutes seven times (1,622 minutes total).

Junior midfielder Xcaret Pineda is one of the leaders of the OSU attack and had a breakout sophomore year to earn a spot on the 2023 All-Big 12 Second Team.
Pineda started all 20 games for the Cowgirls a year ago and was second on the team with 17 points. She scored six goals and five assists, ranking third on the squad.
The Illinois native led OSU with 60 shots, including 25 on goal. She had three goals and one assist in Big 12 play.
Pineda is OSU's third-leading scorer this season with six goals and four assists and earned All-Big 12 First Team honors.

She is a giver

Laudan Wilson has nine assists this season, tied for the Big 12 lead and 10th nationally. It's the most assists by a Cowgirl in a season since Jaci Jones had 12 assists in 2019.
Wilson, who was named to the All-Big 12 First Team, led OSU with 19 points as she also contributed five goals.

Climb

Grace Gordon ranks third on OSU's career shutouts list with 18 in just 39 games in a Cowgirl uniform. She needs three more to move into second place with Erin Stigler; AD Franch holds the record with 38 from 2009 to 2012. Gordon has kept 27 clean sheets in her college career after scoring nine goals in three seasons at Seton Hall.
Gordon's 131 saves in an OSU uniform rank seventh in program history, and she currently ranks first in career saves with a 0.67 average.
Gordon was named to the 2024 All-Big 12 Second Team.

outbreak

In her first two college seasons Logan Heausler played in only 17 games; She appeared as a freshman in the 14 season and then missed most of 2022 after suffering a season-ending injury just three games into the season.
Last season, the Houston native proved to be one of OSU's top offenses, playing in all 20 games and leading the Cowgirls with 18 points. She secured the league lead with seven goals and snapped a streak of four consecutive games – three of them against opponents from the Big 12 – in which she scored a goal.
Heausler leads the attack again in 2024 with eight goals and two assists, better for both the team and his career.

Alex Morris saves her best for last.
The Cowgirls' fifth-year senior fullback scored in back-to-back games against Houston and Cincinnati, with both goals being game-winners, and has a career-best tally of four goals after starting the season with two career goals in '66 games.
