'Dancing With The Stars' Halloween Nightmares Recap – Almost everyone gets a 10

Dancing with the stars“Halloween Nightmares Night” brought excitement and excitement to the ballroom with spooky performances from contestants, many of whom received their first 10s of the season. Read on to read the full Halloween recap and find out which celeb was unfortunately sent home.

The evening began with an exciting group number to “Murder on the Dancefloor” by Sophie Ellis-Bextor, choreographed by Emma Slater and Gleb Savchenko. The professionals and troupe also honored Marvel Television's Agatha All Along with a captivating number to “The Ballad Of The Witches' Road (Sacred Chant Version),” choreographed by Britt Stewart and Ezra Sosa.

The seven remaining couples then moved on to their individual performances, which included Argentine Tango, Contemporary Tango, Viennese Waltz and Tango. This evening also saw the return of the dance-offs, where two couples competed against each other on the dance floor in the same dance style.

The winners of the dance-offs received three bonus points in addition to their score. Chandler and Brandon earned immunity from this week's Dance-Offs due to their top spot on the leaderboard last week and their consistently high scores throughout the season.

Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten

Results: 24 (8, 8, 8)

Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten performed a tango to “Psycho Killer” by Miley Cyrus. Bruno said he noticed that she had worked hard on this dance, especially on her physique. Carrie Ann noticed Ilona's weekly growth and said she liked what she brought to the dance floor. Derek encouraged her to focus on footwork in the future. The judges gave them straight eights.

Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach

Results: 31 (10, 9, 9) + 3 bonus points

Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach performed a contemporary to “Ring Around The Rosie” by District 78 with Natalia Lillee. Carrie Ann said she wasn't sure he would ever go there and praised his artistry and dedication every step of the way. Derek gave them a standing ovation and called the show “downright scary in the best possible way.” Bruno added that he had never seen Dwight more focused and determined than he was tonight. They received the first 10 of the season and two nines.

Danny Amendola and Witney Carson

Results: 28 (10, 9, 9)

Danny Amendola and professional Witney Carson perform an Argentinian tango to “Poison” by RAVN. Derek called the dance “fantastic” but noted that he sometimes hunched his shoulders forward. Bruno added that the routine was so intoxicating that he needed an antidote. Carrie Ann also said the performance was great. “You were on top of the world,” she concluded. They received their first 10 from Carrie Ann and two nines.

Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber

Results: 31 (10, 9, 9) + 3 bonus points

Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber performed a contemporary to “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo. The judges said her routine was amazing. Bruno noted that she was responsible for the dance, while Carrie Ann added that she earned the nine with this athletic and emotional routine. Derek said he loved the intensity and drama and that she was in character the entire time. She also received a 10 and two nines.

Joey Graziadei And Jenna Johnson

Results: 32 (10, 9, 10) + 3 bonus points

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson performed an Argentinian tango to “Ramalama (Bang Bang)” by Róisín Murphy. Derek praised the content of the dance, but noted two moments where the routines felt unstable. Bruno loved the way the story intertwined with the choreography. Carrie Ann told Joey he was so consistent, but tonight he stepped it up. They received two tens and a nine from Derek.

Stephen Nedoroscik And Rylee Arnold

Results: 28 (10, 9, 9)

Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold performed a contemporary to “I Ran (So Far Away)” by Hidden Citizens. Carrie Ann applauded the performance, saying it was the “best dance of the night.” Derek called the dance fantastic and said they loved seeing Stephen in this dramatic role. Bruno added that he gave the audience something special and beautiful. The pair earned the top 10 and two nines.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong

Results: 32 (9, 10, 10) + 3 bonus points

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong performed a Viennese waltz to “Secret” by Denmark + Winter. Bruno described the quality of the movements as exquisite. Carrie Ann added that while she was at her best, she wouldn't call it perfection. Derek disagreed with his fellow judge and said the dance was “absolute perfection.” They received Derek's first ten of the season, a 10 from Bruno and a surprising nine from Carrie Ann.

Dwight and Daniella versus Ilona and Alan

Winner: Dwight and Daniella

The first dance-off took place between Dwight and Daniella and Ilona and Alan. They performed a cha cha to “Ghostbusters” by Ray Parker Jr. The jury noted that both have come this far in their improvement. Although Dwight had a strong start, Ilona was technically better. “It's a tough decision,” Derek said of the difficult decision, but ultimately they chose Dwight and Daniella.

Jenn and Sasha vs. Stephen and Rylee

Winner: Jenn and Sasha

The next couples to compete were Jenn and Sasha and Stephen and Rylee. They performed a salsa to “Jump In the Line” by Harry Belafonte. The judges described both exercises as very entertaining, but also noted their contrasting styles. They praised Jenn's hip movements and how she danced throughout, but also loved Stephen's tricks and lifts. Jenn and Sasha were selected as the winners of the dance-off.

Danny and Witney versus Joey and Jenna

Winner: Joey and Jenna

The final couples to hit the dance floor were Danny and Witney and Joey and Jenna, who performed a jive to “Time Warp” by Little Nell, Patricia Quinn and Richard O'Brien. The judges said the energy level was out of this world. Carrie Ann noted that their approaches are very different. Derek said it was very difficult to judge and congratulated them on a tough fight. In the end, Joey and Jenna came out on top.

Who was eliminated? Dancing with the stars This week?

Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber were eliminated in Week 7 Dancing with the stars. They received the lowest combination of jury ratings for the couples dances and audience votes during Halloween Nightmares Night.

When co-host Julianne Hough asked Tran what the biggest thing she learned during her time on the show, she replied, “I'm just so grateful to have met all the people I've met here; Everyone here was so great and so nice.”

The former Bachelorette continued, “We've spent the last seven weeks attached at the hip, and I can't even imagine life without Sasha at this point, and I didn't even know him seven weeks ago.”

Dancing with the stars returns in two weeks on Tuesday, November 12th on ABC and Disney+. New episodes will be available to stream the next day on ABC.com and Hulu.
