As excited as you are to see Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol fighting for the undisputed light heavyweight title, it's safe to say you might be even more excited than you are.

If you love boxing, there's nothing more fascinating than watching the two best fighters in their division fight for the right to be called the undisputed champion of the weight class.

The fight and a solid undercard take place on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Here's how you can watch it.

  • Date: Saturday, October 11th
  • Time: The main event takes place at 6:00 p.m. ET, with the undercard starting at 12:00 p.m. ET
  • TV/Stream: ESPN+ PPV for the main event with the undercard on DAZN

Both light heavyweight champions go into Saturday's fight undefeated and each with their own accolades.

The 39-year-old Beterbiev has three of the recognized world titles in the division and also has the presence of an absolute killer in the ring. He is 20-0 and has a 100% KO rate in his career. As impressive and destructive as Beterbiev was in his career, Bivol achieved the most notable and characteristic victory.

Bivol easily defeated Canelo Alvarez in May 2022, securing a unanimous decision victory that should have been counted even further on the referee's scorecards. Bivol's surgical jab and exquisite footwork appear to create a winning combination of styles against the hard-hitting Beterbiev.

The biggest question heading into Saturday's main event is whether Beterbiev can find a way to penetrate Bivol's defense, which means getting into his opponent's jab. If he succeeds, will he be able to engage Bivol in a slugfest that gives Beterbiev his best chance of winning?

If he can't do that, this fight can potentially turn into a masterclass for Bivol, picking out Beterbiev from distance and winning a unanimous decision.

Because of Beterbiev's chin, pressure, stamina and strength, sticking to this game plan is easier said than done. He has five knockouts in the eighth round or later, including a finish against Anthony Yarde in January 2023 when he was behind on two of three judges' cards.

On paper it's an excellent fight and the right fight in an era of boxing where we're starting to recognize the fights that make the most sense.

There are several interesting fights to watch on the DAZN undercard. While the undercard costs $19.99, it could be exciting for boxing fans in the UK.

The electric Ben Whittaker takes on Liam Cameron. Whittaker is a superstar, and we are witnessing the rise of a man who could become one of boxing's top stars.

WBC champion Skye Nicholson will defend her title against Raven Chapman. Chris Eubank Jr. is back in action, as are IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia and the ultra-talented Fabio Wardley.

Here's a look at the entire fight card.
