“Deadpool & Wolverine” debuts on digital streaming this week

Deadpool and Wolverine– Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s summer blockbuster – is new to digital streaming this week.

The film is of course the third in Reynolds' R-Rated Dead Pool film trilogy that began with Dead Pool in 2016 and continued with Deadpool 2 in 2018. Jackman last appeared as Wolverine in a film that was supposed to be the character's swansong Logan in 2017, but Deadpool and Wolverine was able to bring the actor's late character back to life across Marvel's multiverse.

Deadpool and Wolverine was released in theaters on July 26th. The film's logline reads: “Deadpool (Reynolds) is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine (Jackman) to save his universe from extinction.”

Pro 20th Century Studios, Deadpool and Wolverine will air for the first time on Tuesday in digital streaming via premium video-on-demand on digital platforms such as Prime Video, AppleTV+ and VUDU.

However, Prime Video will make the film available for purchase or rental starting Monday at 9 a.m. PT, which is 12 p.m. on the East Coast.

The pre-order price for Deadpool and Wolverine is $29.99, which generally reflects the purchase price of a film. Digital rentals typically cost $5 less, allowing viewers to rent the film for $24.99 for a 48-hour period.

Deadpool and Wolverine, per The numbershas grossed $629 million domestically and nearly $690 million internationally, for a worldwide total of $1.319 billion.

Accordingly diversity, Deadpool and Wolverine had a production budget of $200 million before printing and advertising costs.

Thanks to its huge box office earnings Deadpool and Wolverine is the second highest-grossing film of 2024 Inside Out 2.

Accordingly The numbers, Inside Out 2 has grossed nearly $653 million domestically and $1.034 billion internationally, for a worldwide box office total of $1.687 billion to date.

Rotten tomatoes critics gave Deadpool and Wolverine a 78% “fresh” rating based on 402 reviews and RT Users gave the film a “fresh” audience score of 94% based on more than 25,000 verified reviews.

Deadpool and Wolverine is still in theaters and debuts on digital streaming on Tuesday.
