Henry also became the 26th player and 14th running back to reach 100 career scrimmage touchdowns with his 1-yard score in the first quarter. Henry became the fifth player in NFL history to achieve both goals in his first 125 games.

“(I’m) always grateful for the journey and everyone who was a part of it,” Henry said earlier this week when he reached 10,000 rushing yards. “I’ve been very lucky and very grateful to have been able to play for so long and reach such a big milestone.”

“All the greats before me, whom I idolized – they accomplished this feat. That’s why it’s so cool for me to do something that those I idolized have done.”

Henry's first 9,502 rushing yards came in eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans, and he quickly reached that milestone in Baltimore. He posted a 151-yard performance in Dallas and a 199-yard performance last week against the Bills, marking his historic day in Cincinnati.

“As a kid, I always wanted to play running back and make it to the NFL,” Henry said. “…It's like being a kid in a candy store where you can't believe what lies ahead when you reach that milestone. I'm grateful – grateful for every coach (and) every teammate that helped me get to this part. I “I’m just very grateful for everything.”

Henry's records didn't end there, as he became the first Raven with a rushing touchdown in his first five games.
