Carlson spoke with Bannon about what Trump will do and who will rally around him if either side challenges the 2024 election results.

“You see people who have a lot to lose on Trump's side, and they've said it publicly, and they're doomed to destruction if that doesn't work, so down the line they'll stand with Trump if this is challenged.” ” he said.

He added: “I will pray that it doesn’t become (controversial), you know. I think all of us on both sides are praying that it doesn't become contentious, but if it does, it won't be Trump alone.”

Bannon was released from prison last week after serving a four-month sentence for two counts of contempt of Congress after he failed to respond to a subpoena issued by the House special committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol had responded in 2021.
