MIAMI GARDENS, FL. (WSVN) – Avid Taylor Swift fans have begun filling the parking lots at Hard Rock Stadium, hours before the pop superstar opens the first of three concerts on the South Florida stop of her Eras Tour.

In an Instagram reel posted on Friday, Swift can be seen looking around the seating area where thousands of fans will sit to watch the concert.

These fans flocked to the Miam Gardens venue on Friday afternoon as their wildest dreams were about to come true.

“We love you, Taylor!” shouted a group of fans.

A few hours before the first concert begins, it is already the highest-grossing concert of all time, with ticket sales exceeding $1 billion, according to live music trade publication Pollstar.

Miami-Dade officials said they were aware of fans' excitement and wanted the public to know everything was under control.

“We worked hard on the preparations for months. “It's an ongoing conversation with our Miami-Dade Police Department special team working on these events, as well as Homeland Security, the security team at Hard Rock Stadium, and all of that is ongoing,” said Miami Mayor Daniella Levine- Dade. cava. “We are looking at what is happening at events of this nature around the country and the world so we can learn how to best prepare, and we are very confident that everything will go smoothly.”

The increased security precautions were already evident on Friday afternoon when the streets in and around Hard Rock Stadium were closed to traffic.

7News captured increased traffic as fans entered the stadium. The parking lots around the stadium filled up.

The stadium has adopted several rules in advance of the event, including a prepaid parking pass for entry and multiple security checks upon entering the stadium.

There will also be no listening areas outside for people without a ticket.

“They're on top of things, and I think with the clear bags or the little bags, and they're obviously very present. I feel very safe,” said fan Sabrina Wells.

Security measures will remain in place throughout the weekend.

The concert starts at 7 p.m
