Falcons receiver Drake London is out against the Cowboys with a hip injury

Atlanta Falcons receiver Drake London was sidelined with a hip injury he suffered on a 9-yard touchdown reception against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

London landed hard on his right hip after leaping high over Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs to catch the game-winning pass from Kirk Cousins ​​that gave the Falcons a 7-3 lead in the first quarter.

Initially there were no signs that London had been damaged. He threw the ball away, clapped his teammates' hands and even did a headstand, mimicking a college player's celebratory move from the day before.

London never returned to the game and finished the game with two catches for 27 yards. He rode an exercise bike to the sideline to get back on the field, but the Falcons ruled him out at halftime.

London entered the game as Atlanta's leading receiver with 48 catches for 525 yards and five touchdowns.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is out of the Atlanta game with a hamstring injury

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has suffered a hamstring injury and will be forced to leave Sunday's game in Atlanta.

The Cowboys announced that Prescott will not return.

Prescott also appeared to fear an injury to his right hand late in the third quarter. The team confirmed that it was the hamstring injury that knocked the quarterback out of the game.

Prescott completed 18 of 24 passes for 133 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions, ending his streak of three consecutive games with two interceptions. Prescott had three carries for 30 yards.

Cooper Rush replaced Prescott at quarterback early in the fourth quarter as the Cowboys tried to avoid their third straight loss.
