Florida State football without freshman running back Kam Davis against North Carolina

Florida State football will be without freshman running back Kam Davis in the game against North Carolina.

He was seen in street clothes during FSU's warmups before Saturday's game.

Davis did not play in the Seminoles' 36-14 loss to Miami after suffering an injury against Duke. He was the leading rusher for the Seminoles against the Blue Devils, gaining 63 yards on 14 carries.

He has recorded 131 rushing yards this season, with his 63 yards against Duke being a season high. Caziah Holmes received a higher workload compared to Miami to fill the void left by Davis. Holmes scored a touchdown on four carries for 15 yards against the Hurricanes.

Redshirt senior offensive lineman Darius Washington missed the Miami game after suffering a fumble during the game. He was listed as the starter on the depth chart released Monday. He was well dressed and took part in warm-up exercises.

Jacob Rizy started in place of Washington vs. Miami and was promoted to a starting position at left guard on the final depth chart.

Redshirt senior center Maurice Smith was dressed up but did not participate in any contact drills in pregame warmups.
