Fortnite launches free Juice WRLD skin, his mother reacts

Always wanted to play Fortnite with Juice WRLD? The game honors the late rapper and Fortnite Fan (born Jarad Anthony Higgins) with a skin that will be free for a limited time. All players who log in between November 30th at 1am ET and December 1st at 1am ET will receive the “cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit” as a tribute to “Juice's legacy and his love for Fortnite“ says an official blog post. This means the skin will be available about a week after his latest posthumous album. The party never endswill be released on November 22nd. The news was announced at the end of the Chapter 2 remix trailer, which also featured appearances from Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Ice Spice. 999, a number that was significant to Juice WRLD, appears on an empty chair. It also appears in clouds, along with a silhouette of its head. “Jarad always loved to play Fortnite – For him it was more than just entertainment, it was a way to connect with others,” his mother Carmella Wallace said in a statement about the collaboration, according to Sports Illustrated. “From a young age, video games played an important role for him in bonding and interacting with friends and family Fortnite is an incredible tribute to this connection. I know he would be overjoyed to see how his love of games continues to bring people together across spaces, just like his music.”
