20 minutes: Brentford just can't get out of Fulham's press while Berge patrols the midfield and Fulham almost take the lead. Nelson, who has decided to become a left winger for now, makes a few tackles and shoots just wide! The home side are good at the top but need something to show for it.

17 mins: Fulham fans must love this. This is certainly their most exciting team since losing to Atlético in the 2010 Europa League final.

15 minutes: Fluid football from Fulham! It's a one-touch move with Smith Rowe, Andreas Pereira and Robinson all combining, with the latter playing a brilliant pass into Brentford's full-back (Roerslev) to release Smith Rowe, who tried to pass it into the far post to direct but saw his shot deflected wide for a corner. That could have easily been deflected into the Brentford net. Honestly, this was one of the best moves of the season.

12 minutes: That's meant as a compliment, but I don't know exactly where Nelson plays for Fulham. He has appeared on both wings and now drives centrally forward in the No. 10 position, carrying the ball a full 40 yards until Collins expertly throws him away from the ball.

10 minutes: Flekken is on the ground, it looks like he may have injured his knee? The Dutchman will continue, but flinches. No Premier League keeper has made more saves from 47 stops than Flekken.

8 minutes: Almost an own goal when Robinson directs the ball back to Leno. Mbeumo gives the Fulham full-back a push and the ball almost deflects past Leno, who gets something on the ball. Fulham defends the ball.

6 minutes: Nelson appears on the left and shoots unhindered into the Brentford penalty area, forcing Flekken to make a sharp save at the near post. The ball bounces back to Nelson, but Flekken closes the angle again. Good double savings!

4 minutes: Pinnock, forced towards his own corner flag by an erratic pass, does exceptionally well at keeping the ball in and skipping past Nelson to launch a Brentford attack.

“When Thomas Frank praises Ethan Pinnock for being a mountain for Brentford, I wonder how Sepp van den Berg must feel (Berg is Dutch for 'mountain'),” writes Peter Oh via email.

Van den Berg, normally a central defender, plays at left-back tonight. A fake Gvardiol, if you will.

2 minutes: Fulham start well, and Smith Rowe takes center stage, linking play well outside Brentford's penalty area and setting up Jimenez for a (weak) shot straight at Flekken.
