Kris Letang (6G-24A) is tied with Alex Pietrangelo (6G-24A) for the second-most points against the Jets among active defensemen behind Roman Josi (5G-27A).

Ryan Graves has seven takeaways in six games this season, tied for third in the NHL.

Sidney Crosby's next game-winning goal will move him into a six-tie tie for 16th place on the NHL's all-time game-winning goals list. The five players with 92 wins are Johnny Bucyk, Mark Messier, Mike Modano, Jeremy Roenick and Jeff Carter.

Crosby ranks third in the NHL in faceoffs won (76). His faceoff win rate of 56.6% is on track to be the second highest of his career.

The Penguins have an overall record of 389-90-47 when both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin score a point in a game.

Evgeni Malkin was one of the Penguins' hottest prospects from the start, collecting a team-high 11 points (2G-9A) in six games. Malkin has scored multiple points in four games this season, and no NHL player has had more multi-point games than Malkin. Malkin's 11 points on the season rank third in the NHL.

The Penguins are sixth in the NHL with 21 goals in the first six games of the season. Pittsburgh has 12 players on its roster who have scored goals this season, tied for the fourth-most goalscorers in the NHL.

Rickard Rakell and Drew O'Connor are tied for the lead with three goals each. O'Connor, who scored the only goal on Friday against Carolina, needed three goals, the second fewest games of his career.

Sidney Crosby enters tonight's game with two fewer equal goals than Luc Robitaille for the 13th most equal goals in NHL history.

Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang have scored a combined 303 career goals, trailing only Anze Kopitar and Drew Doughty as the third-most goals by a forward-defensemen duo in NHL history.

Jesse Puljujarvi was productive from the start for the Penguins, scoring four points (1G-3A) in his first five games played. His four points are the second most he has accumulated in his first five games to start a season. The 2021.22 season, which was Puljujarvi's best five-game start to his career, was also the season in which he set career-highs in assists (22) and points (36) in 65 games. Puljujarvi has 10 points (4G-6A) in 21 career games against Winnipeg. It is the second most points he has scored against another team.

Tristan Jarry played some of his best hockey of his career against the Winnipeg Jets. The goalie is 5-1-0 with a 1.16 goals-against average, .960 save percentage and two shutouts in six games. Jarry has allowed two goals or fewer in all six starts, and both his goals-against average and save percentage are best against any team.

Evgeni Malkin (1.33; T-7th) and Sidney Crosby (1.36; 4th) are statistically two of the most productive players in NHL history in terms of points per game against the Winnipeg Jets. Three of Malkin's eight career five-pointers came against the Jets/Thrashers franchise.

Throughout their careers, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin dominated daytime games. The duo ranks first and third in daily game points among active players (199 and 165, respectively), and only Alex Ovechkin (93) has scored more goals in daily games than them (79 and 70, respectively).
