Keys Weekly Newspapers and Keys Talk 96.9/102.5 FM will provide expanded live coverage of Election Night 2024 results.

Partnering with the local newspaper and radio station, all breaking news and official results will be broadcast live from the Monroe County Election Headquarters at the Harvey Government Center. Watch live online at https://cloud.castus.tv/vod/monroe and on Comcast channel 76, Hotwire FisionTV channel 1615, Roku and Amazon FireTV.

Live coverage begins at 7 p.m. when Keys Talk 96.9/102.5 Good Morning Keys host Michael Stapleford and Key West Weekly editor Mandy Miles report on the latest local, state and national election results.

Drawing on their decades of election reporting experience, Stapleford and Miles are joined by Marathon Weekly editor Alex Rickert and Upper Keys Weekly editor Jim McCarthy to break down the races in Marathon, Islamorada, Key Largo and Key West and provide expert analysis. Local candidates will also join in as they either declare or concede victory.

Early returns and returns by mail are extensive

Joyce Griffin, supervisor of elections in Monroe County, reports that 61.8% of all registered voters in the Florida Keys have already cast their votes via absentee and early voting. In the last presidential election in 2020, 65.8% voted early and by mail, and another 18.5% of voters cast their ballots on Election Day. “To reach 2020 totals we need 22.2% today,” Griffin wrote in an early morning email. “It’s very doable.”
