“Good Morning America” was ranked America’s No. 1 morning news show in total viewers (2.606 Million) for the week of October 21, 2024 based on live and same-day data from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “GMA” (2.606 million, 490,000 and 317,000 respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings” (1.888 million, 399,000 and 265,000 respectively) across the board: total number of viewers (+718,000)Adults 25-54 (+91,000) and adults 18-49 (+52,000). “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in total viewers and adults 25-54 over the past 1,345 total weeks — since January 18, 1999.
  • season to date, “GMA” (2.677 million) is the No. 1 morning news program in total viewers for the 13th consecutive year — since the 2012-2013 season. “GMA” leads NBC’s “Today.” (2.578 million) from 99,000 and “CBS Mornings” (1.970 million) around 707,000.

The Emmy® Award-winning “Good Morning America,” hosted by Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Michael Strahan and Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee, airs live Monday through Friday (7:00-9:00 a.m. EDT) on ABC. Simone Swink is the executive producer.
