Heidi Klum appears as ET with Tom Kaulitz on Halloween 2024

Heidi Klum unveiled her latest Halloween costume extravaganza and for 2024, the German model dressed up as a very elaborate ET with a blonde wig.

Klum's husband Tom Kaulitz, ever the supportive partner, was just a purebred ET, albeit just as elaborate.

After she posted a video of herself at her annual Prime Video Halloween party, celebs like Terry Crews, Alex Cooper and Snooki congratulated her on yet another out-of-this-world Halloween outfit.

In conversation with Entertainment tonightThe America's Got Talent The judge explained how the idea for ET came about.

“It took a year. When I was nine years old the movie came out and I fell in love with the movie. And I fell in love with ET. And I thought it would be fun if we were both ET and FT, here we are!”

Kaulitz chimed in: “I have to say, it was my idea!”

And in case you were wondering: Yes, they were these elaborate prostheses super uncomfortable for the couple. The comfort level, Klum said, is “a 10, from 1 to 10. 10 is the worst.”

In conversation with PeopleSaid the model: “(I) was kind of thinking about the universe differently and I thought ET was so cute and the way he wiggled around and all the moments where ET dressed up in a wig and everything, so I just thought it would Fun to become ET and especially two to watch.”

This year saw something of an ET showdown as Janelle Monáe also chose to play the iconic friendly alien, complete with the blonde wig, hat and outfit that Klum also wore.

Monáe wrote on Instagram: “Spielberg's ET really made me believe in magic, it made me want to create the world and create iconic characters. Here are some BTS from a recording I had in my head and really enjoyed seeing come to life.”
