The Broncos will head to an AFC matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9. With both teams entering the game at 5-3, Denver will look to improve its record and earn the team's sixth win in seven games.

The Broncos put together one of their most impressive offensive performances this season with their rookie quarterback Bo Nix He posted career highs in several categories, including completion percentage (75.7), total touchdowns (4) and passer rating (124.2). Nix was recently named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Month for October and will look for another strong performance on Sunday. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton also put together his strongest performance of the season, recording his first 100 receiving yard game since 2022. Sutton leads the Broncos with 377 receiving yards this season and should be a key contributor again in Week 9. Running back Jaleel McLaughlinwho set a season-high in rushing yards against the Panthers, could also be looking for another strong performance.

Denver's defense, which currently ranks third in the league in yards allowed per game (282.6), faces a challenging Raven offense that leads the league in yards allowed per game (452.1 ). The Broncos rank second in the league in sacks (30) and will look to put pressure on quarterback Lamar Jackson, who currently leads the NFL with 325 offensive yards per game and a passer rating of 115.4. Outside linebacker Nik Bonittowhose six-game sack streak is currently the longest in the NFL, should look to continue the pressure this weekend. Cornerback after recording an interception during his first game back from injury in Week 8 Pat Surtain II could also aim to be a key defensive player for Denver.

INJURY UPDATE

The Broncos ruled out safeties PJ Locke (thumb) and Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee). Tackles Mike McGlinchey (knee) and Alex Palczewski (ankle), defensive end Zach Allen (non-injury – rest) and cornerback Pat Surtain II (ankle) were not assigned game status, indicating they would be available for Sunday's game will stand.

Running back Rasheen Ali (ankle) and defensive end Brent Urban (concussion) were out for Baltimore. Running back Keaton Mitchell (knee), defensive tackle Travis Jones and cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (knee) and Jalyn Armour-Davis (knee) were listed as questionable.
