What you should know

The Wolverines ended a two-game losing streak by defeating Michigan State 24-17 last week in what was, at least offensively, their cleanest performance of the season. They finished with just 265 yards but didn't turn the ball over, scoring four times over a stretch of five drives to take control after a slow start.

But the Ducks are a completely different animal, ranking in the top 12 in points and yards allowed while also boasting one of the most explosive offenses in the country. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel is firmly in the conversation for the Heisman Trophy and has four pass catchers with over 300 receiving yards: Tez Johnson (638), Evan Stewart (446), Terrance Ferguson (321) and Traeshon Holden (313).

These two programs haven't met since 2007 – a 39-7 win at Oregon. Michigan is 3-2 all-time against the Ducks, with all three wins coming before 1975.
