“Husband, Father, Killer: The Alyssa Pladl Story” premieres today, Saturday, October 19th, at 8pm Eastern on Lifetime. The film stars Jackie Cruz, Matthew MacCaull and Matreya Scarrwener.

Cruz and MacCaull play Alyssa and Steven, a young couple who move in together and eventually have a daughter. After Steven becomes abusive, Alyssa gives her daughter up for adoption. Little does she know that this child, Katie, will come back into her life 18 years later. After convincing her to move in with them and their other two daughters, Steven begins to neglect his family. It finally turns out that he is having an affair with Katie. Will Alyssa be able to convince her of his abusive past before it's too late?
