Inter boss Simone Inzaghi will change game management after criticism

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is considering changing his management of the game after facing heavy criticism following Sunday's draw with Juventus.

According to Corriere della Sera, as reported by FCInterNewsThe media criticism did not go down well with the Nerazzurri coach and caused him to rethink his tactics.

Simone Inzaghi came under harsh criticism after his team blew a two-goal lead in a dramatic 4-4 draw in the Derby d'Italia last weekend.

Despite having what appeared to be a comfortable lead in the final 20 minutes, Inter failed to take home three points.

Kenan Yildiz's late brace off the bench saved Juventus a point.

Furthermore, Yildiz's heroics prevented the defending Serie A champions from defeating the Turin side in back-to-back league games for the first time since 2004.

As if that wasn't frustrating enough, Napoli took advantage of Inter's slip-up and extended their lead at the top to seven points.

While Motta's substitute turned the game on its head, Inzaghi's decisions came back to haunt Inter in the closing stages.

Inzaghi decided to take Benjamin Pavard off just after the hour mark.

At this point Inter were leading 4-2. However, the introduction of Yann Bisseck facilitated Juventus' comeback.

Yildiz twice beat the German youngster to restore parity, which tested Inzaghi.

However, the criticism is somewhat unfounded.

With a series of high-profile injuries limiting his options, Inzaghi will need to constantly rotate to avoid a more serious crisis.

In his defense, Francesco Acerbi was not available to him on Sunday.

But the Italian veteran will also not be returning to today's trip to Tuscany for the game against Empoli.

Therefore, Inzaghi must tread carefully as Inter cannot afford to drop points at the Stadio Carlo Castellani.

The Scudetto-winning coach understands the gravity of the situation and will change his approach.

Instead of changing his lineup, Inzaghi will probably field his best starting XI to make amends for the derby fiasco.
