Colorado has made an impressive jump in layoff competition in its first year in the Big 12.

The Buffaloes are 6-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play, just a year after going 4-8 in the Pac-12. Coach Deion Sanders has helped transform the program with the help of Heisman candidates Travis Hunter and Shadeur Sanders.

With four games left, the Buffaloes are in fourth place in the Big 12 behind BYU, Iowa State and Kansas State.

However, fans will have to wait a week for Colorado to take the field again. The team has a bye and will resume play on Saturday, November 9th.

Luckily for Colorado, the remaining games on the schedule are relatively easy matchups. Texas Tech, Utah, Kansas and Oklahoma State are on the horizon in the next few weeks, and none have a better record than Colorado.
