Jayden Daniels remains on the Commanders' injury report against Giants

The Washington Commanders just pulled off a big win against the Chicago Bears, with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels hitting wide receiver Noah Brown on a Hail Mary with no time left on the clock.

Obviously, Daniels' performance was all the more courageous because he realized before the game that he had made a game-winning decision because of a rib injury. He missed two training sessions in the week leading up to his appearance in the game.

On Thursday, before the Commanders' game against the New York Giants – an NFC East rival – Daniels was a limited participant for the second straight day. While he remains physically fine, three Washington players did not play.

This is what the Commanders' injury report looked like after Thursday's practice:

After missing time due to a concussion, offensive tackle Brandon Coleman has fully returned to practice. It's worth noting that wide receiver Terry McLaurin is listed on both of the week's injury reports with an ankle injury, although he has yet to miss a practice.

Against the Giants, the Commanders should be well-positioned to move to 7-2 on the season, which would be an impressive feat considering the club posted a 4-13 record a season ago. It was exciting to continue the turnaround with Daniels under center and Washington freshman head coach Dan Quinn.
