Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant with her second child

Just last year, Jennifer Lawrence announced their willingness to return there Hunger Games franchise and said, “If Katniss could ever come back into my life, it would be 100 percent.” But right now, she has an even more demanding project ahead of her: the impending birth of her second child.

The news came after Lawrence – once the highest-paid actress in the world – was spotted heading out to dinner in Los Angeles. Her appearance sparked speculation that the 34-year-old might be pregnant, and her rep confirmed the pregnancy fashion on Sunday.

This is the second child for Jennifer Lawrence and her husband Cooke Maroneywho tied the knot on October 19, 2019. (Does that make last night's dinner an anniversary celebration? Maybe!) Maroney is “the greatest person I've ever met,” Lawrence said the year they were married. “He really is,” and he’s doing better.”

The two welcomed their first child, Cy Maroneyin April 2022. In the years surrounding her first pregnancy, Lawrence took a break from the business, she says Vanity Fair In 2021, she said, “Everyone was fed up with me. 'Why didn't she run?'”

In recent years, the star has been far more inaccessible and appeared in far fewer films than during her award-winning rise to the top in the 2010s. While in New Orleans filming, she realized she was pregnant with her first child dama 2022 release in which she played a veteran injured during the war in Afghanistan. “It came out of my performance in all these different creative ways, but I wasn't aware of it,” she told the New York Times.

“Then I came back, and when I'm home and my husband is starting this family, I'm so happy,” she said at the time.

Since then, she has spoken less about her personal life and family. “It's so scary to talk about motherhood. Just because it’s so different for everyone,” she said fashion in 2022. “If I say, 'It was great from the start,' some people will think, 'It wasn't great for me in the beginning' and feel bad.”

“My heart reached a capacity I didn’t know it had,” she said at the time. “I include my husband in that. And then they're both just out there – walking around and crossing streets. He will drive one day. He will be a stupid teenager and drive a car. And I'll just say, “Goodnight!” You know? Who is sleeping?
