My flight was $1,500 and the credit is 1/100 of the money I paid you,” the actress posted on Wednesday. “Strange that I paid that for your in-flight entertainment system that didn't work for the duration of my 6 hour flight, but I think it was worth it for that $15 credit.”

The airline responded by reminding Chastain that all passengers received the same $15 credit.

“I understand, but I spent $1,500 on the flight and so did my husband,” she replied. “There should be some flight credit or something since I have a TrueBlue account and I’m a loyal customer.”

Representatives for Chastain and JetBlue did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Chastain isn't the only celebrity going “out of touch” this year.

Alyssa Milano sparked controversy when she demanded money for her 12-year-old son's baseball trip earlier this year.

Milano wrote on X: “My son's baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.” She also shared more information on how to access the GoFundMe page.

Social media users were confused as to why Milano, a multi-millionaire, was asking her followers for money.

One person wondered, “Why doesn't Alyssa Milano pay for the entire team's trip herself?”, while another questioned why the actress was “asking people for money who can barely buy food.”

Milano responded to those outraged by her demand for money in an Instagram post.

“Every parent raises money for their child’s sports teams and many of them do so through GoFundMe. “It’s no different for me,” she began to explain. “Although I would happily pay for the entire team and their families for travel, transportation, hotel, food and drink, uniforms, pins and everything the teams do for this type of trip, I can't afford it.” So. Maybe one day.

GOOP founder Gwyneth Paltrow faced criticism after listing her “little guesthouse.” on Airbnb.

Although Paltrow may have had good intentions, critics took issue with the fact that she described her Montecito property as “small” since it has a price tag of nearly $5 million.

“Who could ever afford to stay there? Gwen, this is Instagram where ordinary civilians who barely make rent every month, let alone eat, socialize. I mean, your target audience is probably celebrities and rich people like you. Most of all “We could only dream of seeing a fraction of a house we live in,” one comment reads.

Another suggested: “How about Air BNB and celebrities working together to buy a building in LA and turn it into a homeless shelter, which would really impact loneliness in the LA world?”
