GREEN BAY – With first place in the NFC North on the line, Jordan Love is active for Sunday's showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.

Love left last week's game at the Jacksonville Jaguars early in the third quarter with a groin injury. He was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report after practicing on Thursday and Friday. When the Packers decided not to call practice squad quarterback Sean Clifford to the active roster for Saturday's game day, the path was clear for Love to start.

On a sodden Lambeau field, love will have a different center. Josh Myers is inactive with a left wrist injury after being listed as questionable. It remains to be seen how the Packers will remodel their offensive line, but the Packers will have all the other offensive players available.

Running back Josh Jacobs is also available after being listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Jacobs announced his availability this week and said he would be available. He had 127 yards on 25 carries last season and could see another afternoon of heavy workload on a wet field.

The Packers secondary will be thin against an explosive Lions offense. Cornerback Jaire Alexander is inactive after being listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Safety Evan Williams has already been sidelined with a hamstring injury. Both were eliminated from last week's game in Jacksonville, Alexander on the final defensive play.

Receiver Malik Heath, defensive end Brenton Cox Jr. and offensive lineman Travis Glover are also inactive for the Packers.
