Joy Behar jokes that Trump thinks he's a weather expert because he “slept with someone named Stormy”

Donald Trump has to weather another onslaught of criticism from the ladies The view.

Tuesday's “Hot Topics” discussion began with a summary of the disaster relief efforts in the United States following Hurricane Helene, particularly in southern states like Georgia, where Gov. Brian Kemp recently praised President Joe Biden for reaching out to offer assistance during the state was reeling from the damage.

Still, host Whoopi Goldberg accused Trump of lying to the American public about Biden's response to the disaster after Trump said Kemp “had difficulty getting the president on the phone” and Biden's team “didn't respond to calls.” for help.

“I have to keep saying: Is the GOP brain dead? “How can they let him continue to act like he’s in charge?” Goldberg said, asking Republican co-host (and former Trump aide) Alyssa Farah Griffin for advice. “I hate looking at you because it feels like I'm directing you at You, but you're the only one I can ask: What the hell is going on?”

Griffin expressed disbelief that her party was endorsing Trump as its presidential candidate, calling her former boss a “jerk who never misses an opportunity to politicize a tragedy” over his comments about Biden's response to Helene.

However, Joy Behar took a particularly sharp swipe at Trump, joking, “He thinks because he slept with someone named Stormy that he's a weather expert.”

The comedian's joke referenced allegations that Trump had sex with adult film actress Stormy Daniels – a claim he has repeatedly denied in the past. Trump was convicted in May of 34 charges related to illegally influencing the 2016 presidential election through hush money payments to Daniels.

In celebration of the indictment, Goldberg concluded The viewon the May 31 broadcast, repeating the word “guilty” several times while staring into the camera.

Weekly entertainment has reached out to Trump representatives for comment.
