Lakers' Bronny James scores the first NBA points of his career in Cleveland

Bronny James scored the first points of his NBA career on Wednesday night as the Los Angeles Lakers lost 134-110 to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

James entered the game late in the fourth quarter when the game was already in the Cavaliers' pocket. On the left side of the floor, James walked over and drove to the basket. Then he dribbled back to the corner and shot up.

As soon as it started, the fans in the Rocket Mortgage Arena cheered him on. Cavaliers fans still have an incredible soft spot for the James family, as LeBron James played there twice and won a championship for his hometown team.

It was Bronny James' second game of the season. At the beginning of the season he entered the floor at the same time as his father. However, he will likely play most of the season in the G League.

The three-point shot was “the worst thing that could have happened to basketball,” says the former columnist

Despite the emotional night, Cleveland took care of business and improved to 5-0 to start the season. They are the first team to reach the 5-0 mark this season.

Evan Mobley led the Cavaliers with 25 points and five rebounds. Donovan Mitchell added 24 points on 10 of 20 from the floor, including four 3-pointers. He also had seven assists and three steals. Jarrett Allen had 20 points and 17 rebounds.

The Lakers went 3-2 that year.
