Second quarter

0:32 — It's a hat trick for Ollie Gordon.

Gordon ran into the end zone for the third time tonight and gave the Cowboys the lead for the first time all night. Oklahoma State 21, BYU 14.

It's not all good news for the Cowboys, however. Quarterback Garret Rangel – who has already rushed for 77 yards tonight – left the game with an apparent shoulder injury and was replaced under center by recently benched veteran Alan Bowman.

3:44 — Jake Retzlaff's first mistake of the night came at just the wrong time.

Retzlaff's throw down the sideline attempted to force some downfield but was intercepted by Korie Black, who returned the pick 17 yards to the Oklahoma State 24-yard line. BYU 14, Oklahoma State 14.

Retzlaff has now thrown six interceptions this season.

7:55 – The Cougars simply have no answer for Ollie Gordon.

Oklahoma State's talented running back intercepted a pass in the flat with no coverage and sprinted up the sideline, overcoming BYU safety Faletau Satuala before reaching the end zone for a 17-yard touchdown. BYU 14, Oklahoma State 14.

Gordon has now scored seven career touchdowns against the Cougars in less than two games.

2:03 p.m – Tanner Wall's pick-six attempt may have failed, but LJ Martin finished the job with a 1-yard touchdown to give the Cougars a one-point lead. BYU 14, Oklahoma State 7.

2:05 p.m – Another week, another interception for Tanner Wall.

BYU's free safety intercepted a bad pass from Garret Rangel and returned it 47 yards to the goal line, nearly earning a pick-six but still giving the Cougars huge momentum. BYU 7, Oklahoma State 7.

Wall now has interceptions in consecutive weeks and picked up his first career pick last Saturday against Arizona.
